| Bio: | STATUS: DROPPED Brief background: Toshihiko is most memorable as the first heart that Kobato healed. He is an only child with separated parents but his mother seems to have most of his affection. Toshihiko’s mother works late so people have commented that she must be a bad mother to leave her son all alone. With a child’s solution, Toshihiko resolves this by waiting in parks and playgrounds until she comes home. When he shares his situation with Kobato, he doesn’t need to defend his mother. Instead, Kobato says Toshihiko’s mother sounds like a wonderful mom. Toshihiko is so glad to finally have someone who appreciates his mother the way he does, he glomps Kobato and cries. And thus, his heart was healed. When the Big Uglies (a.k.a. Yakuza thugs) came by the school, Toshihiko was one of the students they harassed. Kobato tried to stop them and Fujimoto threw himself into the fight as well. When Sayaka came out the Big Uglies started harassing her too. Before things could get out of hand Toshihiko started crying and screaming for help. The Big Uglies were vanquished [[cowards]] and when Kobato went to Toshihiko to try and calm him, he smiled at her, revealing his tears to be all part of his Master Plan to rid the Nursery of the Big Uglies. If a reader were to look carefully at the backgrounds in the nursery, Toshihiko can often be seen with one or two girls on his arm. Though he has taken a liking to the girl with braids and the girl with pigtails, he is also often spotted with another short-haired child whose gender is yet to be determined. Personality: Toshihiko is a confident child and even a little brash. He is usually seen being a sort of leader to his friends and is the first to jump into things. He doesn’t lose his head in a stressful situation like most children, but instead plans accordingly. He’s very energetic but not high-strung. Even though his parents are separated, he’s not sad or angry. Like any kid, he loves to play and is even a tiny bit blunt, most likely from all that Fuji-exposure. | ||||||||||
